“Enchanting Holidays at Charles Paddock Zoo: A Festive Adventure with Santa and Family Delights!”

– The Charles Paddock Zoo is set to present its yearly Holiday Magic event on Saturday, Dec. 21, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will showcase zookeeper-led gift distributions for the animals and a visit from Santa Claus, who will be present to welcome guests.

Scheduled animal gift distributions will occur from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., allowing spectators to watch animals, including meerkats, tigers, and monkeys, unwrap their festive gifts. Holiday melodies and enchantment will be provided by Andy Morris, while the Central Coast Garden Railroad Society will feature a model train exhibition. The zoo will also be festively adorned for the holiday season.

The zoo encourages community members to support the animals by contributing from the zoo’s enrichment items list on Amazon. These items are intended to enhance the animals’ well-being and festive experience.

The event is included with standard zoo entry fees. Rates for admission are $13 for adults aged 13 and over, $8 for children between 5-12 years, $5 for children aged 3-4, and free for children aged 2 and under. Seniors aged 65 and above can enter for $11. The zoo operates daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The zoo houses more than 300 animals, which include red pandas, monkeys, meerkats, parrots, a Malayan tiger, and a diverse selection of reptiles. Guests are encouraged to check out the zoo’s gift shop for stocking stuffer suggestions and consider gifting a zoo membership this holiday season.
