“Hanukkah Voyage Caution: Israel Issues Warning on Iranian-Associated Terror Risks”

The security apparatus of Israel is contemplating the issuance of a travel advisory for Egypt in anticipation of Hanukkah, based on intelligence suggesting potential Iranian-coordinated terrorist attacks on Israelis.

As per a Kan Radio report from Sunday morning, Israeli authorities have advised Egypt to enhance its security forces to address these risks.

NSC adjusts threat levels for Armenia, Maldives, and Brazil

On December 5, the National Security Council (NSC) revised its assessed threat levels for travel to Armenia, the Maldives, and Brazil.

Regarding Armenia, the travel warning escalated from level two (possible threat) to level three (moderate threat) due to the “increased terrorist threat” aimed at Israelis and Jews within the nation.

For the Maldives, the travel warning has similarly risen from level two to level three because of the existence of “terror sympathizers” and a rise in “hostility” towards Israelis and Jews on the island. 

In Brazil, the travel advisory has been lowered from level two to level one (no threat level), with the exception of the borders shared by Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay.
