Master the Mind: A Fresh Look at Nyx Builds Post-Rework in Warframe

In Warframe: 1999, alongside exciting new contributions to the expanding arsenal of Warframe. Such as the new Cyte-09 sniper warframe and the Vesper 77 pistol. Digital Extremes revamped two warframes, one being Nyx. A warframe that has been overshadowed as the meta has leaned towards more crowd control and damage-centric builds recently. In the latest expansion, Nyx underwent minor adjustments to her abilities, but before we delve into her current performance, let’s review our build for her.

Below is the build I have utilized for Nyx since the rework:

Nyx is a warframe that greatly depends on ability usage and the range of those abilities. Thus, stacking primarily into Range and Efficiency, along with a minor emphasis on Strength and Duration, is essential, supported by a dual Molt arcane set to compensate for any slight deficits in her abilities. Below are the Archon Shards I have employed as well:

The increase in casting speed is beneficial considering I couldn’t equip a Natural Talent on her. The remaining elements can be whatever you prefer, as they are mainly for aesthetic purposes. But how does Nyx perform with this build after her rework?

Nyx Post Rework Review

Nyx is exceptionally robust as a warframe now. In fact, I find no requirement for any of her augments, given how effective Psychic Bolts, Chaos, and Absorb operate now. I still do not favor using Mind Control, so you might want to subsume something like a Roar or Nourish. Psychic Bolts as an ability can now obliterate shields and overguard, making any form of enhanced durability unnecessary. Chaos enables her to inflict enormous amounts of critical damage with the right weapons, and Absorb can now deal a decent amount of base damage while providing invulnerability.

All these factors lead to Nyx being a highly strategic choice, whether prime or otherwise, to utilize in any engagements now. Whether in Steel Path, Netracells, or Deep Archimedea, she proves to be one of your optimal options.
