Leeds Rhinos will compete in their final match of 2024 on Boxing Day as a revamped squad faces Wakefield Trinity in the Wetherby Whaler Festive Challenge at AMT Headingley Stadium.

The event will be overseen by the jolly figure himself, Santa Claus, with numerous additional activities planned as a festive delight for the entire family.

Join in on the Christmas festivities when the stadium gates open at 10 am. Supporters can commence the celebrations by visiting Santa Claus, who will be traversing around the stadium.

Fans will also have an opportunity to get close and personal with Santa’s devoted team of Reindeers, featuring Rudolph and Prancer stationed near the primary club shop, while Santa’s Elves return to spread their holiday joy by handing out exciting surprises.

The Grinch will also be present, surely voicing his discontent regarding the extra Boxing Day festive activities, so anticipate some comical antics and unexpected surprises!

Supporters are encouraged to take their seats early to welcome Santa on the pitch as he performs ‘A letter to Santa’, followed by the Louise Dennison dancers who will showcase a Christmas medley on the pitch.

During halftime, The Grinch will take charge as he leads an epic snowball fight on the pitch!

It will also be the fans’ first opportunity to witness new signings Maika Sivo, Cooper Jenkins, Keenan Palasia, Jake Connor, along with the returning Ryan Hall.

Tickets for the matchup on Thursday, December 26th are still available for purchase via with prices beginning from £22 for adults, £18 for concessions, and just £10 for juniors. Leeds Rhinos members for 2024 and 2025 can save £3 on their adult, concession, and junior tickets if bought by midnight the day prior to the match.
