In the snapshot, Williams, who has spent over six months in space, is captured wearing a red Santa hat and T-shirt, beaming alongside Pettit.

Nevertheless, social media commentators were quick to note her noticeably slim figure. One individual remarked, “Suni Williams does not appear well; she needs to return home immediately.” Another added, “They are looking rather frail! Sending prayers for their safety!”

Williams and her fellow astronaut Butch Wilmore were initially launched aboard Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft in June, intended for an eight-day operation.
