Photographer Hervé Robillard captured these images at the construction site of the Champagne Taittinger headquarters located in Reims.
He accompanied these with the following statements:

The photography project emerged immediately from my interaction with the location.

For me, it was not merely about documenting the varying stages of the construction site’s evolution but about intertwining them into a more expansive viewpoint: the historic site of Maison Taittinger perceived not merely as a backdrop but as an entire universe.

Documenting the faintest traces of the unearthed surfaces prior to their reburial: a palimpsest captured through photography.

Recording the continuous transformations of the environment.

Sensing the light, the materials, the vibrations, the energies.

Uniting with the genius loci to uncover a more profound reality that resonates with the deep beats of the internal universe.

Embracing a reflective stance leading to contemplation, immersing us in the boundless essence of the place.
