Dr. Rebecca Swift, Senior Vice President of Creative, oversees content development utilized in award-winning advertising, design, and editorial work worldwide. Collaborating closely with creators and artistic professionals internationally, Rebecca is vital in ensuring that Getty Images consistently evolves and delivers fresh, pertinent content, thereby engaging and inspiring communicators around the world.

With more than 20 years of experience in the photography sector, Rebecca was among the founding members of the creative research team at Getty Images, where she introduced and guided visual research methodologies throughout the industry.

Rebecca is enthusiastic about the significance of diversity and inclusion both in front of and behind the camera, particularly focused on the advancement of visual representation for women. She leads the #ShowUs collaboration with Dove, which has garnered over 40 international creative accolades, including a Glass Lion and two Effies.

Rebecca takes pleasure in sharing the Creative Insights team’s research at industry conferences and collaborating with academic researchers and lecturers across the globe. She has been acknowledged as one of AdAge’s “20 Women to Watch” and is a Campaign magazine’s Female Frontier honoree, in addition to receiving recognition as the “Most Influential Leader in UK Visual Media”.

Rebecca holds a PhD in Photography.
