SARASOTA, Fla.  – The Baldwin Wallace University men’s and women’s swimming and diving squads faced off against Randolph-Macon (Va.) College during their annual winter break training trip at the Arlington Park Aquatic Complex.
 
Men’s Results

  • Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC swimmer Tommie McQueary (Batavia/Bethel Park) claimed victory in the 100-yard individual medley with a time of 54.60 and secured second place in the 50-yard butterfly at 24.28
  • Senior All-OAC swimmer Austin Kingsley (Northport, N.Y.) placed second in both the 50-yard backstroke and the 200-yard freestyle with times of 26.27 and 1:52.60, respectively
  • Senior swimmer Jason Tafoya (El Paso, Texas) took fourth in the 50-yard breaststroke, clocking in at 29.97
  • Senior swimmer Luke Minick (Stow/Archbishop Hoban) finished fifth in the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle with times of 23.50 and 53.06, respectively.
  • The 200-yard medley relay team of Kingsley, Tafoya, McQueary, and Minick earned second place with a time of 1:41.42

  • The 200-yard freestyle relay featuring Radcliff, Dondorfer, Wands, and Harrington also claimed second place with a time of 1:45.28

The Yellow Jackets will observe a break during the holidays.  BW is set to return on Saturday, January 11 when it hosts a non-conference dual meet against Oberlin College in the BW Natatorium at 1 p.m.
