Dive into Adventure: Discovering Swimming Experiences at Moraine State Park!

Swimming is allowed at two beaches along the banks of Lake Arthur:

• Lakeview Beach located on the North Shore features a 656-foot sandy beach
• Pleasant Valley Beach situated on the South Shore has a 400-foot combination of turf and sand. There is a sand volleyball court and a playground on the western side of the beach.

Both beaches provide showers, changing rooms, and snack bars.

The beaches operate daily from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day unless posted otherwise. Regular hours are from 8:00 A.M. until sunset.

Swim at your own discretion.

To maintain cleanliness and safety, pets are not allowed in the beach areas.

Smoke-Free Beaches

Smoking is not allowed on the beaches and in swimming areas.

For those who smoke and wish to visit the beaches, designated smoking areas near the beaches are available. The ban covers:

• Cigarettes
• Pipes
• Cigars
• E-cigarettes
• Other handheld, lit smoking devices

Snack Shop Concessions

The concessions offer a wide selection of hot and cold quick meals, including drinks and sweets, from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Operating hours are 11:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday through Sunday; they remain closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The Lakeview Beach Concession is located at Lakeview Beach on the North Shore, approximately five miles from Pennsylvania Route 422.

Pleasant Valley Beach can be found along Pleasant Valley Road on the South Shore, about one mile from Pennsylvania Route 422 and half a mile from the park office.
