AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides complimentary federal and California income tax preparation for individuals with low to moderate incomes. The emphasis is on supporting seniors, though taxpayers of any age are invited to participate.
Tax returns will be processed in person from 1-3:30 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, starting February 3 through April 14 at the American Legion Wing, Solvang Veterans Hall, 1745 Mission Drive, conducted by IRS-certified volunteers.
Tax clients are required to bring the previous year’s (2023) tax returns, all 2024 documents from the IRS, California Franchise Tax Board, and Social Security Administration, Social Security cards, a voided check for direct bank deposit/debit, as well as photo identification.
