Chance to demonstrate skating skills: Purchase tickets ahead or at the entrance

HOPEWELL — Experience an exhilarating time this holiday season at the Hopewell Skating Rink. The indoor rink features a synthetic ice surface with inflatables around to enhance the festive atmosphere. Tickets, which include skate rentals, are priced at just $6 each plus service fees. Availability of skates is limited.

The chance to demonstrate skating ability is open to individuals of all ages. Tickets can be bought in advance at eventbrite.com or directly at the rink, card payments only. Cash will not be accepted. Food and beverages can be acquired from local eateries or ordered via DoorDash.

“We advise everyone to obtain tickets in advance,” stated Charles Bennett, Hopewell’s Director of Economic Development and Tourism. “We offer the QR code at the rink for skaters to scan and make payments.”

The Hopewell Skating Rink is situated downtown at 301 East Randolph Road in Hopewell, near Hardee’s and the Hopewell General District Courthouse. The rink operates every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 5-8 p.m. until Jan. 4. Gather your family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues for a fantastic outing.

If you have an upcoming special occasion, consider hosting a private event at the rink before the usual operating hours. Reach out to the Hopewell Department of Economic Development for further details at 804-541-2270.
