The Kingsport Aquatic Center is excited to welcome the New Year with one of its most beloved events – A Let’s Glow Swimming Bash!

This exceptional evening gathering will occur in the warm water and play pools from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on January 4. The competition pool, diving boards, and rock wall will all be accessible during the gathering.

Kids of all ages are welcome to participate; however, those under 16 must have an adult guardian accompanying them. The event has a cap of 200 attendees. The entry fee is $8 (for pre-registration) and $12 (at the entrance). Every individual is required to pay admission, even if they are not swimming.

The Kingsport Aquatic Center will lower the lights and illuminate the pools with glow sticks of various shapes and sizes. Youngsters will then be able to swim in the “glow pools” and play on inflatables while their favorite tunes play through the speakers.

Kiddos are encouraged to bring their own glow sticks to the gathering. It’s a fantastic way to celebrate the conclusion of winter break and the commencement of the New Year.

“If you’re seeking something distinctive and exciting to do for the New Year, then bring your swimwear and some glow sticks and head over to the Kingsport Aquatic Center on January 4,” stated Aquatics Program Coordinator Madison Gump.

To sign up, visit https://bit.ly/49LRBbU. You can also click on the CivicRec link in the Connect Kingsport app or navigate to www.kingsporttn.gov and select the “CivicRec” link, then look for “glow swim” in the search bar.
