This individual shall oversee the daily clinical operations to fulfill all residents’ needs.

Position Overview

$3000 Sign-On Bonus

• Accountable for medication oversight/administration in accordance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation protocols.
• May oversee the admission of new residents, including all admission evaluations and documentation.
• Tasked with developing acute and long-term care plans or service strategies.
• May be tasked with clinical system monitoring (such as wounds or infection control) under the guidance of the Director of Nursing.
• May handle discharges, evaluations, and clinical documentation as required.
• Offer general advice concerning health-related matters within the community.
• Inform physicians and/or family members of any alterations in a resident’s health and provide appropriate documentation.
• Respond promptly to all emergencies.
• Maintain close communication with all departments and personnel.
• Safeguard the confidentiality of residents’ and potential residents’ information.
• Comprehend the role in the Safety & Disaster Plan.
• Conduct educational sessions for residents and staff.

Requirements

Required Level of Education: An Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution; or Two years of relevant experience and/or training, or a combination of education and applicable experience.
Field of Study: Nursing
Years of Experience: 1+ years
Type of Experience: skilled, sub-acute, or memory care environment
Special Certifications: Must possess a current Registered Nurse’s License with no sanctions in the state of practice, and must be CPR certified
Language Proficiency: Adequate proficiency in English to perform job duties and interact, read, write, and communicate with supervisors, colleagues, residents, and relevant third parties.
Technical Skills: Basic computer competencies

• Capable of functioning as part of a team and managing multiple tasks safely and effectively.
