According to the Tracxn analysis, the quick commerce sector in 2024 experienced a remarkable increase in funding, raising $1.37 billion in equity across seven rounds, prominently led by Zepto, which attained $1.355 billion through three rounds of $300 million each.

Redseer forecasts a GMV CAGR of 40-45% for q-commerce over the next three years. With an expansion beyond just groceries and food, all participants have broadened their product ranges to encompass toys, gold during Dhanteras, beauty items, fashion, and electronics, among various other categories.

Instamart aims to boost its dark store count to double by March 2025 from 523 in March 2024. In its inaugural results following the IPO, Swiggy reported enhanced performance for its quick commerce division, with its gross order value growth increasing by 24% sequentially, reaching Rs 3,382 crore.
