Brrr! This winter has been bustling at EOCF, yet we’ve heated things up with some remarkable happenings for our children and their families. We’re dedicated to nurturing community here in Southwest Washington, and these activities presented the perfect opportunity to unite everyone for enjoyment and education.
To kick off, we organized an extraordinary snowflake-creation festivity at Starcrest Early Learning Center! Our young artists unleashed their imagination and crafted some stunning snowflakes (take a look at them below!). Our team collaborated with Seize the Bagel on NE 99th, which showcased the artwork and rewarded each artist with a certificate for a FREE bagel! We turned our classrooms into a wintry paradise of creativity, and the children were genuinely excited! This collaboration was immensely popular with the kids, educators, and the whole community!
We are convinced of the significance of community partnerships, and this one truly highlighted their value. It offered our children an opportunity to shine and express their creativity with the community, while also enhancing community pride. Observing the snowflake creations brought joy to everyone, making it a splendid way to fortify relationships within the neighborhoods we inhabit.
Who says winter requires staying indoors? Not us! We held a Family Gym Night with putt-putt, basketball, parachute activities…the whole enchilada! Everyone had a fantastic time running around and playing together. Honestly, the grins were infectious!
Naturally, we couldn’t overlook the wonderfully festive Holiday gathering at our Memorial Site! We adorned the surroundings, filled Santa bags with treats, enjoyed stacks of books and puzzles, and even had a Christmas light piñata! Our incredible team infused the holiday spirit, and the food was absolutely fantastic! We had everything from delicious snacks to sweet delights – there was something to satisfy everyone.
At Educational Opportunities for Children, we focus on providing children with the optimal foundation. This involves creating a space where families can engage, play, and learn as one. And guess what? We’re a complimentary preschool program for families in Clark County! Our mission is to ensure that every child in Southwest Washington has the chance to learn and thrive. We are confident that resilient families cultivate resilient children, and these events are just one approach we take to uplift our remarkable community. You can find us across any of our thirty locations throughout Southwest Washington. Additionally, we are thrilled about our forthcoming transition to our new headquarters, which will enable us to assist even more families!
We have even more thrilling events lined up for the upcoming year! Want to keep yourself updated? Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn for all the newest news and information. Together, we’re building a lasting legacy of progress, opportunity, and community engagement.
