Samsung Unveils Sneak Peek of the Future: Innovative Gadgets and Smart Glasses on the Horizon!

Although the flagship Galaxy S25 series smartphones are expected to be the main highlight at the event, the company might also present a selection of innovative devices set to launch later in 2025. A report from 9To5Google indicates that these upcoming devices could feature the Samsung Galaxy Ring 2, new smart glasses, and Samsung’s Project Moohan XR headset.

Regarding the enhancements, the report mentioned that the Galaxy Ring 2 will provide enhanced health sensors and extended battery longevity. No significant design alterations are anticipated from the updated model.

While the company has previously showcased its Project Moohan extended reality headset, Samsung may introduce a new smart glasses device. Built on the Android XR framework, the smart glasses are likely to utilize Google’s Gemini AI assistant to deliver features such as real-time translation of conversations, message summarization, directional guidance, and more.

 Past reports indicated that Samsung is working on a smart glasses device akin to Ray-Ban Meta glasses, equipped with a built-in 12MP camera for recording and other functionalities. It will probably be supported by a Qualcomm AR1 chip, the same processor utilized in Meta’s smart glasses.

Earlier this month, Samsung revealed that it has created a prototype XR headset, named Project Moohan, in collaboration with Google and Qualcomm. This device is expected to be formally announced at the forthcoming Galaxy Unpacked event.

Constructed on Google’s Android XR framework, the headset is anticipated to boast advanced display technology, pass-through capabilities, and multi-modal input methods. It is intended to act as a “spatial canvas,” providing users with the ability to perform tasks such as navigating Google Maps, watching YouTube, and engaging with Gemini for a range of activities.
