EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record that complies with company criteria, in addition to having access to an insured vehicle suitable for deliveries. CRITERIA

General tasks for all store personnel

Operate all machinery.
Restock ingredients from delivery areas to storage, working areas, and walk-in coolers.
Prepare products.
Receive and process phone orders.
Conduct inventory and complete related documentation.
Clean equipment and facility on a daily basis.

Training

Orientation and on-the-job training is provided.

Communication Proficiencies

Ability to understand and provide accurate written directions.
Ability to verbally interact with customers and colleagues to process orders over the phone and in person.

Essential Skills/Functions

Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations accurately and rapidly (calculator usage permitted).
Must be able to give correct change in cash.
Verbal, written, and phone abilities for order taking and processing.
Hand-eye coordination for quick and precise movements.
Ability to input orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Exposure to

Variable and sometimes harsh weather conditions while taking out trash and executing other outdoor tasks.
In-store temperatures may vary from 36 degrees in coolers to over 90 degrees in certain work areas.
Rapid changes in temperature in work areas and outside.
Odors from food fumes.
Exposure to cornmeal dust.
Constrained spaces, including walk-in coolers.
Hot surfaces/tools from ovens up to 500 degrees or hotter.
Sharp edges and moving mechanical components.

SENSING ABILITIES

Talking and listening on the phone.
Close and mid-range vision for most store activities.
Depth perception.
Ability to distinguish between hot and cold surfaces.

The ability to direct activities, carry out repetitive tasks, work independently and in teams, perform under pressure, adhere to strict quality control standards, engage with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments, and take decisions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS including, but not limited to the following:

Standing

Most activities are conducted while standing.

Walking

For brief distances for short durations.
Surfaces include ceramic tiles with linoleum in some food processing areas. Work surfaces typically range from 36 to 48 inches high.

Sitting

Paperwork is usually finalized in an office setting at a desk or table.

Lifting

Bulk product shipments are received twice weekly or more and unloaded by the team member utilizing a hand truck.
Deliveries may consist of cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, with dimensions up to 3′ x 1.5′.
Cases are typically lifted from the floor and stacked onto shelves that may reach up to 72 inches high.

Carrying

Large cans weighing 3 pounds and 7 ounces are transported from the workstation to storage shelves.
Occasionally, pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds is transported from the storage area to the front of the store.
Trays of pizza dough, weighing approximately 12 pounds each, are carried three at a time over short distances.

Pushing

To move trays positioned on dollies. A stack of trays on a dolly weighs approximately 24-30 and requires up to 7.5 pounds of force to push.
Trays may also be dragged.

Climbing

Team members may infrequently ascend stairs or a ladder to adjust prices on signs, clean walls, or perform maintenance tasks.
