“2025 Gaming Dreams: Ten Wishes to Transform the Industry”

Here are my 10 gaming aspirations for everyone in the coming New Year:

1. Engage with your rivals. Engage with your rivals. Engage with your rivals.
2. Once your visits conclude, step outside your individual area. If Marketing, Slots, IT, Finance, and Table games fail to continuously collaborate and share regular meals together, you’re missing out on significant revenue.
3. Increase celebrations with your on-floor teams. They hold considerably more importance than those “above”.
4. Some casino parking garages are good, and some are not. Please demolish and reconstruct yours if it falls into the latter category.
5. Come on, Texas & New York City! Everyone there truly desires casinos (even if they won’t verbalize it). Simply make it happen.
6. As soon as new casino software versions are released, promptly update all your systems. While there may be some immediate challenges, the advantages will prove to be more rewarding and lasting.
7. Seize the chance to investigate and incorporate the extraordinary new tools that AI has to offer.
8. Similarly, motivate all operators to pour resources into further training and learning how to maximize the utility of the software tools they currently possess.
9. In only exceptional situations is it unwise to add increasingly more good machines. (A decreasing Win/Unit/Day metric isn’t always problematic).
10. Please outlaw “6/5 Blackjack,” “Triple 000 Roulette,” and “Resort Fees”.
