BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – The Alabama Wellness Alliance (AWA) has unveiled the “For Every Body” initiative, aimed at promoting healthy lifestyle practices and providing access to resources for all residents of Alabama, irrespective of age, ethnicity, size, or capability.
According to AWA, the campaign features social media visuals and messages designed to raise awareness of the Alabama Physical Activity and Nutrition Plan, highlight state and local events, encourage healthy practices, promote use of community resources, and more.
“Everyone can make gradual changes towards improved health. The ‘For Every Body’ campaign motivates participation in healthy lifestyle practices such as consuming more fruits and vegetables, drinking enough water, and engaging in physical activities that you enjoy,” expressed AWA member Lita Chatham.
