The upcoming fitness tracker from Huawei, the Band 10, is nearing its launch, as recent certifications indicate a global debut is imminent. The device has appeared in Indonesia’s SDPPI database and Europe’s TUV SUD platform under the model identifier NOR-B29. These certifications are essential to confirm that the device complies with quality, safety, and environmental requirements in those areas.
While Huawei has not yet declared a launch date, the timing matches the company’s typical release period in spring. If the trend continues, we can expect the Band 10 to debut in March or April 2025, in line with its predecessors’ timeline.
A glance back at the Huawei Band 9
Reflecting on the previous version, there was actually very little distinction between the Huawei Band 9 and the Band 8. Definitely not enough to justify an upgrade if you were using the older model.
One enhancement was the addition of a 9-axis IMU sensor, which improves activity monitoring compared to the 6-axis inertial sensors found in the former model. Additionally, the Band 9 incorporates enhancements in sleep tracking and overall health assessment, rendering it a superior option for those focused on thorough wellness monitoring.

The design remains quite similar, with minor variations in measurements. Moreover, the Band 9 presents new color options like Lemon Yellow, Light Pink, and Electric Blue, delivering a more contemporary look compared to the Band 8’s traditional hues such as Emerald Green and Cherry Pink.
Potential features of the Band 10
We hope the next version will introduce more noteworthy improvements. It would not be unexpected to see an enhanced display, upgraded sensors, along with more sophisticated health monitoring features. Conversely, we might again see only slight enhancements. It’s difficult to predict at this moment.
Last year, there were numerous leaks prior to the official announcement. Thus, don’t be shocked if additional information about the Band 10 begins to surface well ahead of its anticipated launch.
