January 2025 Unveiled: Exciting Free Titles Coming to PlayStation Plus!

This month, PlayStation has disclosed a new selection of complimentary games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. All PS Plus members can claim a set of three no-charge titles starting from January 7: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. Be sure to grab December’s PlayStation Plus free games if you haven’t done so yet, before next Tuesday.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was among various live-service titles launched last year that struggled to attract players, as this team-oriented adventure set in Metropolis featuring several villains received a mediocre response at best upon its initial launch. With several months of updates and new characters incorporated into the game’s lineup, its concluding season was activated in December 2024.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is widely acknowledged as one of the premier installments in EA’s racing series, and the remaster released in 2020 introduced several impressive improvements. Depending on the side of the law you prefer to play, this remains an entertaining racing experience filled with exciting vehicles, stunning graphics, and gratifying vehicle destruction.

Lastly, The Stanley Parable is an odd yet captivating experience you will want to engage with as little prior knowledge as possible to safeguard its wonderful peculiarity. This is the Ultra Deluxe edition of the game, a remake that significantly expands upon the original and essentially acts as a sequel, albeit without the official title.
