New Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic and Z Flip FE Spotting Sparks Excitement in GSMA Database!

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July, notably omitting Pro and Classic variants from the collection. These wearable devices were launched alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. However, the South Korean technology titan seems to be working on a new Classic smartwatch. A Galaxy Watch 8 Classic has allegedly been detected in the GSMA database, suggesting its possible comeback featuring a rotating bezel.

Moreover, a Fan Edition variant of the Galaxy Z Flip has also appeared in the GSMA database. Both gadgets are speculated to be released in the latter half of 2025.

As reported by Smartprix, the GSMA IMEI database indicated the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic under the model number SM-L505U, which corresponds with Samsung’s naming patterns for the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra. The publication shared a screenshot of the entry, verifying the smartwatch’s designation. Earlier this year, Samsung opted not to launch Classic or Pro versions with the Galaxy Watch 7 series, choosing instead to provide the standard Galaxy Watch 7 in two sizes alongside the Galaxy Watch Ultra.

Previous Classic models have gained popularity for their distinctive physical rotating bezel, which may make a return with this anticipated launch.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE Might Soon Make Its Debut

The same report also found the Galaxy Z Flip FE listed in the GSMA database with the model number SM-F761B. The “B” suffix in the model number is thought to signify the international variant of the product.

The Fan Edition model is expected to launch as a more budget-friendly foldable smartphone, potentially alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 next year. It is rumoured to be equipped with Samsung’s proprietary Exynos 2500 series chipset.

Currently, Samsung’s foldable devices are powered by Snapdragon processors. For example, the recently launched Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are outfitted with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform for Galaxy.
