Videography, filming, and professional photography are permitted at the airport with a revocable authorization from the Department of Airports. All actions are required to be coordinated with the Department along with any tenants and airlines that might be affected by the filming or photography session. All regulations and guidelines set forth by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) must be followed meticulously.

To initiate the permitting procedure, you need to provide:

• A script, storyboard, and/or comprehensive description of the project.
• The estimated number of crew, talent, and clients involved in the project.
• The day, date, and estimated number of hours required for the project.
• Proof of insurance coverage.

Please be informed: A fee of $250 will be charged for issuing a permit. Location fees are determined based on the duration of time and the airport personnel needed for coordination and oversight of the filming or photography. Please review the breakdown of the airport fees below and allow at least two weeks to secure a permit.

Still photography session (production with up to 6 individuals)

• Up to 2 hours: $100
• Each extra hour: $50

Still photography session (production with more than 6 individuals)

• Up to 2 hours: $200
• Each extra hour: $100

Film/Video (production with up to 6 individuals)

• Up to 2 hours: $200
• Each extra hour: $100

Film/Video (production with 7-15 individuals)

• Up to 2 hours: $500
• Each extra hour: $150

Film/Video (production with more than 15 individuals)

• Up to 2 hours: $1,000
• Each extra hour: $200

Student Projects (Vocational, Trade School, College, or University)

• Fee waived for up to 5 hours. A letter from school authorities and proof of insurance liability from the institution is required.

Additional costs may be incurred based on the requirements for airport police, security, or airport personnel: $50/hr
