Green Bay Gears Up for an Unforgettable NFL Draft Extravaganza!

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – As 2025 has officially commenced, the anticipation for Green Bay’s NFL Draft Weekend is intensifying in Titletown and the downtown area.

“Our intention is to roll out the red carpet,” stated Jen Metcalf, Assistant Director for Downtown Green Bay. “Our duty is to ensure that visitors and even residents of this community remember to venture downtown.”

Metcalf and her team aim to achieve this through ‘Touchdown Downtown,’ an initiative being developed that promises to bring some draft day excitement for all.

“We’re organizing a Saturday Farmer’s Market: Draft edition,” Metcalf elaborated. “On another day, there will be a Booyah competition. Booyah is undeniably a symbol of Green Bay; everyone enjoys a good cook-off.”

Just across the Fox River, On Broadway is also preparing for some football festivities in April.

“We’re devising varied musical ideas, unique promotions, special discounts, and even unique menu options,” mentioned Mary Rhode, Vice President of Marketing and Communications with On Broadway. “Fireworks will light up downtown.”

This joint endeavor is being enriched with new details every week, all aimed at demonstrating to football enthusiasts from all over that Green Bay is a destination to spend time.

“We are all aware of how fantastic it is to live and work here,” Rhode remarked. “This is a remarkable chance for us to truly celebrate and present all the incredible aspects we cherish about this community.”

Metcalf reflected that belief.

“Hundreds of thousands more people will be in our community, so we want to ensure we highlight what can be done when you visit downtown,” Metcalf stated. “I feel exhilarated when I see people enthusiastic about Green Bay.”
