iAnthus Snags Cheetah: A $1.5 Million Leap into the Lifestyle Vape Market

iAnthus Capital Holdings Inc., which manages, operates and collaborates with regulated cannabis enterprises throughout the United States, has made an asset acquisition agreement with Cheetah Enterprises Inc.

Based in New York City, iAnthus announced it has agreed to obtain the Illinois-based Cheetah vape label for $1.5 million on December 30.

As part of this acquisition, Michael Piermont, co-founder and CEO of Cheetah, will join iAnthus as chief commercial officer.

This acquisition provides us the momentum to succeed with consumers, penetrate new markets, and attract top-tier talent to our team.”

Under the purchase agreement, iAnthus indicated it will acquire nearly all the assets of Cheetah Enterprises Inc. that pertain to and are utilized in connection with Cheetah’s cannabis wholesale operations. This encompasses the production, promotion, and sales of cannabis distillate vaporizer items within the states of Illinois and Pennsylvania under the Cheetah brand.
