Meghan Markle Makes a Stunning Comeback on Instagram!

 Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is commencing the new year with her inaugural Instagram account since 2020.

On Wednesday, the Associated Press verified that @meghan is owned by the Duchess of Sussex. Her initial post features a monochrome video of her at the beach, dressed in white and etching 2025 into the sand on a cloudy day. The account has already amassed over 200,000 followers.

Meghan and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, were wed in 2018 and were initially part of @KensingtonRoyal, which also included Harry’s sibling, Prince William, and his spouse, Kate, the Princess of Wales. However, a year later, Meghan and Harry created their own account, @SussexRoyal, indicating their increasing separation from the royal family. @SussexRoyal was phased out in 2020, around the period when Meghan and Harry proclaimed their intention to step back from their official duties.

Meghan, who previously had a widely-followed Instagram account during her time on Suits, had signaled her desire to return. In a 2022 interview with New York Magazine’s The Cut, she revealed: “Do you want to hear a secret? I’m coming back … to Instagram.”

On other occasions, she expressed hesitation about rejoining Instagram, mentioning apprehensions regarding harassment. In 2023, Meghan and Harry called on social media platforms to enhance content moderation policies, arguing that certain applications could harm the mental well-being of young individuals.
