BOSTON – The No. 13/14 Boston University women’s ice hockey squad (11-5-1, 9-2-1 HE) makes a comeback for the latter part of the season as it heads to Holy Cross (7-9-1, 3-7-1 HE) this Friday (Jan. 3). The first Turnpike Trophy clash of the season is set for 6 p.m.

• BU wrapped up the initial half with a 3-1 triumph against Maine in December.
• Graduate student Tamara Giaquinto, junior Riley Walsh and graduate student Lindsay Bochna each contributed a goal in the victory.
• Giaquinto’s tally was netted during a power play, bringing her seasonal tally of power-play goals to four, topping Hockey East.
• Bochna’s goal was achieved on a short-handed empty-net opportunity, marking her first short-handed goal of the season.
