MILWAUKEE – The No. 8/8 Marquette University men’s basketball squad triumphed over Creighton on Friday evening, 79-71, in front of a full house at Fiserv Forum, improving to 4-0 in BIG EAST competition.

The Golden Eagles (13-2, 4-0 BIG EAST) were spearheaded by Kam Jones, who recorded 22 points (15 in the second half), nine rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Stevie Mitchell contributed with 18 points (14 in the first half), six rebounds, and two assists.
