Or perhaps you are merely overwhelmed, and require some low-risk soothing content to ease your mind? For all this and additional, I suggest viewing Chess ‘Speedruns’, or ‘Rating ladder ascensions’. The concept of a chess ‘speedrun’ involves a master chess player establishing a new account on a chess platform. They begin at the lowest rank, playing total novices, and progress up through the ranks as they win, until they achieve the status of top-tier players. As they engage in play, they explain the reasoning behind each move, highlighting the types of mistakes opponents are likely to make at various skill levels.

The title ‘speedrun’ might seem ironic initially, as they participate in multiple games that can each extend for thirty minutes. Nonetheless, a complete novice advancing from a chess rating of 1200 to 2400 in 150 consecutive games would represent an extraordinarily rapid improvement.

His method of articulating his thought process about the board is unique compared to other chess streamers I’ve encountered.
