With immediate effect, the Trusted Traveler program has been halted at Patrick SFB and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida, until further notice.

The program permitted valid cardholders with escort authority to endorse individuals traveling in the same vehicle without requiring prior clearance approvals. For those visiting the installation, the suspension of the program means that drivers with certain kinds of DoD ID cards can no longer endorse all passengers in their vehicle. Each individual in a vehicle who is 16 years of age or older must present a DoD or military ID card or acquire a visitor’s pass.

-Residents in housing with family members visiting will need to secure visitor passes, and all new visitors will be required to have passes.

-Golfers holding an annual base pass are no longer able to bring or sponsor additional guests.

-Food delivery drivers lacking base access will no longer be permitted on base. All food deliveries must be picked up at the East Gate.

-Event Bright tickets for launches will be canceled.

The choice to suspend this program was made to guarantee the safety and security of our personnel, residents, and visitors. Individuals accessing the base are encouraged to be ready for extra screening processes. Currently, there are no known threats to the installations.
