Blue Raiders Heat Up the Track: Facing Off at TSU for Indoor Season Showdown!

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Track & Field is set to proceed with their indoor season, participating in the second meet on Sunday, Jan. 5 at Tennessee State University: the Ed Temple Classic. The event will commence at 9:00 am CT at the Gentry Complex, with the field events occurring first.

The planned field events include High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, and Weight Throw, following that specific order. After the field events, the track events are scheduled to begin at 11:00 am. The events scheduled are 55m, Mile, 400m, 150m, 600m, 800m, 300m, 200m, 3000m, along with the 4x400m relay. All events are arranged for both men’s and women’s categories.

The Blue Raiders are coming off an outstanding showing at the Dean Hayes Classic, where they achieved 16 first place finishes over two days. Middle Tennessee Track & Field wrapped up the meet on a successful note, winning both the men’s and women’s 4x400m relays.
