2025 Monmouth County Swimming Championships 1/11/25

Saturday, January 11th, 2025 – Girls – 9:15am Meet Commencement, 8:00am Warm Up
Entry opens at 7:15am for Swimmers, Coaches, and Officials (side entrance)
Entry opens at 7:15 for Spectators (front entrance)

Saturday, January 11th, 2025– Boys – 2:15pm Meet Commencement, 1:00pm Warm Up
Entry opens at 12:30pm for Swimmers, Coaches, and Officials (side entrance)
Entry opens at 12:30 for spectators (front entrance)

GENERAL DETAILS:
Entry:
  • Swimmers, coaches, officials: Must enter via the rear doors off Flier Drive. (Refer to bussing maps)
    Busses will be guided to the drop-off zone, and swimmers will enter through these doors and check in.
  • Spectators: Must enter through the main glass doors of the Aquatic Center and through the lobby. The fee for
    the event will be $5 per adult aged over 12 years. No deck chairs, coolers, or strollers allowed.
  • Please note, seating, similar to all sports events, is restricted and will be first come
    first serve.
Sequence of Events:
  • 200 yard Medley Relay
  • 200 Yard Freestyle
  • 200 Yard Individual Medley
  • 50 Yard Freestyle
  • BREAK (Swimmers may warm up/cool down)
  • 100 Yard Butterfly
  • 100 Yard Freestyle
  • 500 Yard Freestyle
  • 200 Yard Freestyle Relay
  • 100 Yard Backstroke
  • 100 Yard Breaststroke
  • BREAK (THE POOL IS NOT OPEN)
  • 400 Yard Freestyle Relay

Awards: Medals will be distributed for places 1st – 4th, and ribbons will be provided for swimmers placing 5th – 8th.

  • Medals and ribbons will be presented to the head coach at the conclusion of the meet.
  • Team plaques will be given for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams for both boys and girls.
  • A High Point Swimmer prize will be awarded to one girl and one boy.

Scoring: Points are given for the top 16 positions in each race based on the following scale:

  • 20, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 9, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
  • Relays earn double points. Team scores and individual placements will be announced periodically throughout
    the event.
  • Swimmers competing as individuals and not part of a team will not be included in the team scoring
    system and will not accrue points.
