2006-07 Season Preview

Bailey Ingles found her rhythm last season and is poised for an exceptional senior year. Her recent achievements could lead to significant outcomes for one of the Huskers’ premier athletes in butterfly and individual medley events.

Ingles demonstrated her adaptability by participating in backstroke for the Huskers during two meets, where she recorded a 58.77 in the finals at the Texas Invitational, ranking No. 1 on the team for the majority of the season. The native of Omaha, Neb., claimed victory in the 100-yard backstroke in front of her home crowd when NU competed against Nebraska-Omaha and Northern Colorado on February 28. Throughout the year, Ingles won a total of five events and achieved 25 top-10 placements.
