The audio brand recently unveiled the latest version, the Tour One M3, which features not only the standard updates but also a new convenient travel capability. 

The JBL Tour One M3 headphones feature the JBL Smart Tx, a touchscreen, wireless audio receiver that users can utilize to connect to in-flight entertainment systems on aircraft—or any analog audio system necessitating a wired connection. JBL claims that the audio transmitter interaction in the Smart Tx enhances latency, stability, and call clarity.

This implies you no longer need to request the flight attendant for those inexpensive earbuds that barely stay in your ears for watching The Holdovers during your upcoming long-distance flight; instead, you can utilize the headphones you brought with you. According to the press announcement, users will have “complete control” over the headphone functionalities via the Smart Tx transmitter and can adjust music playback, manage calls, alter audio configurations, and stream sources to Auracast-compatible devices. 

JBL also introduced next-gen proprietary spatial audio for the Tour One M3, providing an engaging listening experience through head-tracking capabilities. Users will be able to move their heads and perceive the sound tracking their motions. 

The headphones feature a 70-hour battery life, sufficient to last through an entire week of listening. Furthermore, users can access lossless audio via a 3.5mm and USB-C audio port. 

The Tour One M3 will be available for $399 starting April 13 in three color options: Black, Mocha, and Blue.
