The concluding week of the 2024 NFL regular season featured divisional encounters and amusing jabs.

The Houston Texans triumphed over the Tennessee Titans with a score of 23-14 on their turf, breaking a two-game skid.

Most of the game was played by Houston’s reserves, with running back Dameon Pierce racking up 176 yards and a 92-yard touchdown run. Texans quarterback Davis Mills managed 128 passing yards, while Titans quarterback Will Levis accumulated 175 passing yards along with a touchdown.

Houston’s triumph was accompanied by various jabs. The Texans took the opportunity to mock the Titans for donning their Oilers-themed uniforms, including reimagining the Oilers logo as an “L.”

Aiming for their fifth consecutive win of the season, the Washington Commanders required every moment against the Dallas Cowboys.

Trailing by four with 3:18 left, Commanders quarterback Marcus Mariota orchestrated an 11-play, 91-yard drive culminating in a go-ahead touchdown catch by Terry McLaurin. Washington concluded the season with 11 victories, marking their highest total since 1991.

The Commanders commemorated the milestone by taunting the Cowboys with a modified clip from the TV comedy series “The Office.”

The Seattle Seahawks concluded their season positively, overcoming the Los Angeles Rams on their field.

Quarterback Geno Smith from the Seahawks passed for 223 yards and secured four touchdowns. In his first start of the season, Rams quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo threw for 334 yards and two touchdowns.

In an unusual turn, Los Angeles engaged in trolling despite their loss. The Rams added a twist to a podium meme, mocking the Seahawks for celebrating their win even after being ousted from the playoffs. Los Angeles outperformed Seattle to seize the NFC West title, permitting the team to rest its starters on Sunday.
