BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M baseball squad will commence the 2025 season at the pinnacle of the Perfect Game Preseason Poll, as declared by the publication on Monday.

This signifies the inaugural occasion in the program’s history where the Aggies will initiate the season as the number one team in the Perfect Game Preseason Poll and the 13th instance for the Maroon & White to begin the year within the Top 10 of a significant poll. Texas A&M is trailed by four additional SEC teams within the Top 10, marking the highest representation of any conference.

The Aggies are emerging from a remarkable journey in 2024, which led them to the College World Series Finals for the first time in the program’s history. The venture to Omaha constituted the Maroon & White’s second in three seasons and their eighth overall. Texas A&M is embarking on its inaugural season under head coach Michael Earley, who played a pivotal role in transforming the Aggies into one of the most formidable and dynamic offenses in the nation during his three-season stint as an assistant.

As indicated by the poll, which represents the first of five primary preseason polls to be published, the Maroon & White will compete against eight teams within the Top 25 during the 2025 season.

The Aggies are set to kick off their 2025 season on Friday, February 14 against Elon at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park.
