NORWOOD — Senior Planet Smartphone Photography, Math Tutoring, Folded Book Hearts and Flowers workshop, along with other offerings, are available at Norwood Public Library this January.

Complimentary math tutoring sessions are provided on Thursdays from 2-5 p.m. by volunteer Carroll Boswell. Feel free to drop in with any math inquiries. Open to individuals of all ages.

The Library Hoots Storytime takes place on Fridays at 10:30 a.m. This early literacy initiative promotes reading preparedness and fosters a passion for reading through storytelling, songs, crafts, and enjoyment.

A Senior Planet Smartphone Photography presentation is scheduled for Jan. 21 at 2 p.m. Discover more about smartphone cameras, including Android and iPhone devices, icons, editing tools, as well as managing and sharing photos, and scanning QR codes.

Library patrons are encouraged to participate in Book Bingo as part of a winter reading challenge by reading titles from five distinct categories before Feb. 28. Children will receive free books for each completed Bingo. Adults/teens will have an opportunity to win a $25 gift certificate to the Norwood News Cafe. Pick up a Winter Bingo card at the library or visit the library’s Facebook page.
