Empowering Futures: Transformative Programs for Children and Families

This court-mandated, four-hour program is mandatory for all parents of minors under 18 who are either undergoing divorce or, for other reasons, need a parenting plan concerning custody and/or financial obligations.

The Child Impact Seminar assists parents in comprehending the effects that divorce, separation, and custody disputes can have on children. You will gain insights on how to help your children adapt to this new reality to prevent any potentially adverse impacts. Our focus is on encouraging you to move past your troubled partnership and cultivate a newly-defined relationship as co-parents who collaborate to nurture your children.

When:
Classes take place in either a four-hour Saturday morning session or are divided into two evening sessions. Check the schedule for class times listed on this page.

Where:
All Child Impact Classes are conducted via Zoom. Attendees must have access to technology that permits virtual participation, including a functional webcam and microphone. Co-parents are required to attend separate classes. Each participant and the court will receive a certificate confirming attendance.

How:
The registration fee is $85 per person. If you are receiving any form of public assistance, you may qualify for a discounted rate.
