Highlights from the 82nd Golden Globes

The Golden Globes made a return with the entertainment industry’s most prominent figures gracing the red carpet to display the latest trends in fashion prior to the event at Los Angeles’ renowned Beverly Hilton Hotel. 

This year’s event was hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser, who has featured in several Comedy Central programs before her notable appearance during “The Roast of Tom Brady” earlier in 2024.

Zoe Saldaña

Zoe Saldaña and co-star Selena Gomez from “Emilia Pérez” have both received nominations for best performance by an actress in a supporting role in any feature film. The musical crime-thriller directed by French filmmaker Jacques Audiard has garnered the most nominations at the Golden Globes this year with 10 nods. Karla Sofía Gascón was also acknowledged for “Emilia Pérez” in the category for best performance by an actress in a musical or comedy.

Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez received two nominations, one for her performance in Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building” and another for the film “Emilia Pérez.”

Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande, nominated for best performance by a supporting actress in any feature film for her portrayal in “Wicked,” stepped onto the red carpet.
