The reveNIR’s weight is under 4.5 lbs with the battery included, making it 2 lbs lighter and 50% more compact than the ASD Halo. This streamlined design is perfect for challenging terrains such as mountainous regions and remote mining sites that necessitate access via helicopter or small aircraft.

The adaptability of the reveNIR enables it to be used for reconnaissance, core logging, rock chip analysis, and broadening mapping areas. Users can evaluate outcrops, measure various locations, and analyze the mineralogy of geological formations effortlessly.

Moreover, the reveNIR can identify crucial minerals such as Calcite, Chlorite, Dickite, Epidote, Goethite, Halloysite, Hematite, Illite, Kaolinite, Montmorillonite, Muscovite, Rare Earth Oxides, Rectorite, and Smectites.
