FORT WORTH – TCU is again the preseason leader predicted to win the Big 12 Championship.

The Horned Frogs were selected first in the Big 12 Men’s Tennis Preseason Poll after a vote from the conference’s head coaches.

TCU accumulated 63 points and received seven out of a potential nine first-place votes. Coaches were prohibited from voting for their own teams. Arizona secured the remaining two first-place votes and was ranked second with 57 points. The top five in the poll includes Baylor (47 points), Arizona State (46 points), and Oklahoma State (34 points).

This preseason prediction marks the sixth occasion in 13 seasons of Big 12 affiliation that TCU has been anticipated to secure the conference’s regular season title.

The Horned Frogs have claimed the leading title with eight combined Big 12 regular season and tournament championships since 2015. TCU achieved its most recent conference title at the Big 12 tournament championship in 2023. Five of the last eight regular season crowns have been awarded to Fort Worth.
