Enchanting Love at Judson Mill: The Wedding of Stephanie & Yaou

The wedding of Stephanie and Yaou at Judson Mill was one such occasion. While the day in September was quite warm, it couldn’t diminish the happiness and warmth emanating from this remarkable couple.

Making their way from California for their wedding, Stephanie and Yaou added an extra layer of significance to the day as it was our first encounter. From my arrival, their generosity and authentic bond created an immediate sense of belonging in their celebration. Taking their photographs was effortless; their comfort with each other and their innate tenderness illuminated every image. Opting out of having a wedding party kept the attention squarely on them. Following their touching first look, we traveled to a local park to capture their portraits. Despite the summer warmth, they welcomed the chance to seize moments that genuinely showcased their narrative.

The reception was a visual delight courtesy of their florist friend who designed the most breathtaking and distinctive centerpieces. The decorations included lotus pods, orchids, and deep red tones, celebrating Yaou’s Chinese background. Each table was a masterpiece, and the significant details contributed an additional layer of richness to the festivities. As the night progressed, guests filled the dance floor, rejoicing in the happiness of Stephanie and Yaou’s union. The blend of heartfelt instances, creative designs, and an atmosphere of sheer celebration rendered this day unforgettable.
