Nike Joins Forces with FDJ-SUEZ for a Trendsetting Team Apparel Collaboration

Nike has established an exclusive collaboration with the premier women’s professional cycling squad FDJ-SUEZ, set to commence in 2025. 

As the team’s designated “lifestyle apparel vendor,” this agreement designates FDJ-SUEZ as the sole professional cycling outfit, spanning both the women’s and men’s divisions, to partner directly with the globally esteemed brand.

This collaboration signifies a significant achievement for the French team, following the acquisition of former Tour de France Femmes champion Demi Vollering on a two-year contract for the 2025 and 2026 seasons. She will join forces as a co-leader with Évita Muzic and newcomer Juliette Labous.

Last April, Vollering unveiled a personal sponsorship with Nike, separate from her previous SD Worx-Protime team sponsorship arrangements. She joins the ranks of Mark Cavendish, Letizia Paternoster, and Cameron Wurf, who have secured similar agreements with the American sports brand. While Nike currently does not manufacture cycling gear, both Cavendish and Wurf donned shoes prominently featuring the Nike Swoosh.

FDJ-SUEZ confirmed that athletes and team members will don lifestyle apparel crafted by Nike this season, merging style with practicality. “A shared dedication to blending sport and culture,” stated a press release from the team. 

For both Nike and FDJ-SUEZ, the squad expressed that this partnership offers a remarkable chance to delve into new possibilities while associating with one of the most recognizable brands globally.

“This collaboration with Nike presents a distinctive opportunity for our team. Partnering with such a legendary brand will enhance our identity while introducing a new aspect to our initiative,” remarked Stephen Delcourt, General Manager of FDJ-SUEZ.

“We are eager to foster this partnership over the long haul, boosting our team’s image both during competitions and beyond.”

FDJ-SUEZ has also experienced a shift in bike sponsorship, transitioning from Lapierre to Specialized, as announced in December. This agreement coincided with both the team’s 25th anniversary and the signing of Vollering.

Specialized will provide bikes for FDJ-SUEZ while maintaining its partnership with Vollering’s prior team SD Worx-Protime for the foreseeable future, with a contract extending through the end of the 2028 season.
