FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State had eight student-athletes selected for the 2024 Academic All-District® Football Team chosen by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday, Jan. 7. This team honors the top student-athletes in the nation for their exceptional accomplishments both on the field and in their studies.
NDSU center Trent Fraley, linebacker Logan Kopp, wide receiver Bryce Lance, defensive linemen Jaxon Duttenhefer, Kole Menz, Eli Mostaert, and Will Mostaert, along with fullback Truman Werremeyer were named to the Academic All-District® team.
Kopp, Lance, and Eli Mostaert were among the finalists chosen to progress to the national ballot for the Academic All-America® honors, which will be announced on Tuesday, Jan. 28.
To be eligible, nominees need to maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50, must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and participate in 90 percent of the institution’s games or start in at least 66 percent of the games. Graduate students must also achieve a 3.50 cumulative GPA in graduate studies.
