Lance and Mostaert Shine as Finalists for Prestigious FCS ADA Postgraduate Scholarship

CLEVELAND – The Football Championship Subdivision Athletic Directors Association has recognized 54 student-athletes for its 27th annual FCS ADA Academic All-Star Team, which was disclosed on Tuesday, Jan. 7.

North Dakota State wide receiver Bryce Lance and defensive tackle Eli Mostaert were among the distinguished athletes, both selected as finalists for the 24th annual FCS ADA Postgraduate Scholarship. Two athletes will be granted $5,000 scholarships.

Football players from all FCS institutions qualify for the accolade. Nominees must maintain a minimum 3.20 grade-point average and serve as a starter or significant player with authentic athletic credentials in at least their second year of athletics and academic standing at their respective institutions.

A dedicated review committee consisting of FCS athletic directors undertook the task of selecting the 2024 Academic All-Star Team and FCS ADA Postgraduate Scholarship finalists. This year’s committee included Mark Benson from Albany (chair); Kurt McGuffin from Tennessee-Martin; Sherryta Freeman from Lafayette; Skip Perkins from North Carolina Central; and Tom Michael from Eastern Illinois.
