Sonic and Galaxy Interactive Unveil Groundbreaking Fund to Propel Web3 Gaming Forward!

Sonic SVM and Galaxy Interactive have revealed the establishment of G.A.M.E. Fund 1, an initiative ranging from $200,000 to $1 million.

This initiative aims to expedite Web3 gaming, development of AI agents, and TikTok content generation, as per a company announcement distributed to crypto.news.

The fund is structured to empower creators working within Sonic’s Solana (SOL) Virtual Machine ecosystems and the Sonic HyperGrid framework.

Its initial investment has been made in Gomble Games, a frontrunner in casual mobile gaming, supported by significant contributors such as Binance Labs, Animoca Brands, and Altos Ventures. 

Gomble Games, boasting 110 million users worldwide, intends to incorporate on-chain solutions while exploring TikTok’s Web3 prospects via Sonic’s Applayer platform.

Sonic’s TikTok-centric platform, Applayer SonicX, has successfully onboarded more than 2 million users, according to the announcement.

Three Principal Verticals of the Fund

The G.A.M.E. Fund 1 focuses on three primary verticals: firstly, it aims to bolster innovation in Web3 gaming by providing the infrastructure and tools that game studios need to develop on Sonic’s SVM; secondly, it will emphasize AI agent creation, which entails the development of self-sufficient virtual characters and the enhancement of collective intelligence.

Lastly, the initiative seeks to improve TikTok content generation by providing monetization resources and gaming experiences specifically crafted for the TikTok audience.

Chris Zhu, CEO of Sonic, highlighted the fund’s significance in promoting the convergence of gaming, AI, and social media platforms.

“The future of gaming resides at the crossroads of high-performance infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and social connectivity,” Zhu stated.
