1. Lenovo Thinkbook Plus Gen 6 Rollable
- Best attribute: The rollable screen… obviously
Forget foldable smartphones – how about rollable laptop displays? That’s the era we’ve officially entered, thanks to the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable from Lenovo. With just one button press, the display can expand from a standard 14 inches to a remarkable 16.7 inches when you require additional vertical space to operate.
This is quite a commendable laptop aside from its primary gimmick, too: it features an Intel Core Ultra 200V processor, up to 32GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of SSD storage, so significant computing tasks can be accomplished on it. The laptop is expected to hit the market this year, though we are still awaiting pricing details…
2. PocketBook InkPoster
- Best attribute: That stunning E Ink display
The PocketBook InkPoster embodies the type of gadget CES is all about: a sleek, advanced, highly desirable piece of technology that might be on the pricier side but is bound to captivate all who view it. It serves as a high-end digital art display, allowing you to constantly update the artwork showcased on your walls.
Utilizing E Ink technology, the panel demands considerably less energy compared to a conventional screen – and it presents the art in a more traditional and authentic manner as well. Throughout the year, three distinct sizes will be available, but you might need to save up to afford one – prices commence at a staggering $599 (roughly £485 / AU$970), escalating into four figures.
3. Kanto UKI bookshelf speakers
- Best attribute: It’s a close call between the design and the price
If you’re in pursuit of some remarkably adorable bookshelf speakers that won’t empty your wallet, the new Kanto UKIs might just be for you.
We haven’t had the chance to listen to them yet at CES 2025, but if the UKI speakers sound as good as the company’s superb Ren powered speakers, then we will surely be quite impressed.
Although they aren’t available to buy yet (the only models at CES are prototypes), they are set to launch in the latter half of 2025 for a mere $199 / £199 (approximately AU$319.99). On paper, that’s a fantastic deal – plus, you can select from charming black, white, cobalt, and sage hues.
4. KaraPod
- Best attribute: No need to add water
We’ve encountered numerous coffee machines at TechRadar, yet the KaraPod has still succeeded in grabbing our attention: its distinctive feature is its dual function as a dehumidifier and a coffee brewer, utilizing the collected condensed water for your drinks. A clever environmentally-friendly concept? Or simply somewhat unusual?
According to the creators of the KaraPod, this is entirely secure – though your coffee may taste quite different. There is certainly some allure in a coffee machine that never requires its water reservoir to be replenished, and the appliance won’t drain your wallet either – it will soon be obtainable directly from Karawater.
5. Razer Blade 16
- Best characteristic: Premier Nvidia graphics capability
The Nvidia RTX 5090 is now official (check yesterday’s CES updates), which indicates that laptops equipped with this GPU can be revealed – like the Razer Blade 16, for instance. This is a monstrous gaming laptop, showcasing the previously mentioned graphics alongside the advanced AMD AI 9 HX 370 CPU.
Being a Razer laptop, we anticipate exceptional craftsmanship, and the Blade 16 also features a high-resolution 240Hz OLED screen as well as a new vapor chamber thermal management system. We’re still pending the pricing announcement, but it should be released and available for purchase before the end of March.
6. Nanoleaf 4D V2

Asus has presented us with a plethora of new laptops at CES 2025, and the ROG Strix Scar models are standout selections: the 16-inch and 18-inch laptops come equipped with next-generation Intel and Nvidia components (up to an RTX 5090 for graphics), alongside a maximum of 64GB of RAM and up to 2TB of SSD storage capacity.
Include 2.5K mini-LED displays (featuring 3ms response times and 240Hz refresh rates), plus tool-free upgrades for the SSD if necessary, and it represents a truly remarkable offering – undoubtedly a pricey one, once the costs are officially revealed. These laptops will handle virtually anything and more.
8. Swann Xtreem4K
- Best characteristic: AI safeguarding your residence
We wholeheartedly support AI when it introduces functionalities that are truly beneficial, and that’s true for the new Swann Xtreem4K, among several new home security innovations presented by Swann at CES 2025. This security camera comes equipped with an AI assistant capable of deterring intruders or greeting guests for you.
The premise is that the device is clever enough to distinguish between recognized individuals—friends and foes—and react accordingly, even in your absence. The strikingly designed camera functions wirelessly, provides three months between battery charges, and delivers a complete color 4K video stream day and night.
9. BMW Panoramic iDrive
- Best characteristic: A highly intelligent, full-screen interface
BMW has seized the opportunity at CES 2025 to unveil its next-generation iDrive system for 2025 – and it’s packed with screen real estate. The new full-width head-up display spans from pillar to pillar ahead of the driver, showcasing nearly every piece of data you might desire while traveling.
Its full designation is the BMW Panoramic iDrive, and it’s set to debut first in the Neue Klasse X electric SUV (as well as in all upcoming BMW vehicles). BMW has also enhanced the operating system supporting its in-car ecosystem, offering numerous customization possibilities to explore once you take the driver’s seat. Conversely, enthusiasts of physical controls may find this less appealing.
10. Panasonic Z95B OLED TV
- Best characteristic: The most luminous OLED TV to date
Televisions consistently play a significant role in the narrative at any CES, and this year’s affair is no exception. A standout this year is the innovative Z95B OLED from Panasonic, which boasts an advanced display stack and cooling mechanism designed to deliver a marked enhancement over the Panasonic Z95A OLED (which was already exceptional).
One of the advantages of having the TechRadar team present on the exhibition floor in Las Vegas is that we can experience firsthand previews of the most exciting technology launching in 2025 – and judging by our initial interactions with the Z95B, this model is poised to establish a fresh benchmark for OLED TV technology, whenever Panasonic decides to release it for purchase.
11. Honda Series 0 SUV and Saloon
- Prime feature: Streamlined, more sophisticated designs
Honda is ensuring its presence at CES 2025 as well, unveiling an impressive lineup of new electric vehicles that encompass the Series 0 SUV and Saloon. These automobiles feature striking contours, in addition to refined designs for the headlights and fresh color schemes compared to previous prototypes.
These vehicles are built around Honda’s new “Thin, Light, and Wise” principle, which the company assures will lead to electric vehicles that are both lighter and more refined than the current models. Sadly, it will be some time before we can test drive these cars ourselves, as they are set for a complete launch in 2026.
