In this position, you will be tasked with assisting residents in the Assisted Living Program with their daily activities, allowing them to enjoy a quality life while preserving their dignity.

Role Description

• Assist as necessary with bathing, grooming, dressing, escort duties, and other daily living activities.
• Adhere to the schedule of residents’ needs established by the supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social encouragement to residents.
• Maintain a daily log of assistance provided.
• Notify the supervisor of any resident-related issues or concerns.
• Honor and promote the independence and dignity of the residents.
• Ensure confidentiality for residents.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in senior care is required.
• Proficient in English to fulfill job responsibilities, communicate with the supervisor and other staff, and respond to emergencies.
• CNA or CHHA certification is required.
• Basic computer literacy is necessary.
• You should be compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic, and supportive.
• The ability to work collaboratively in a team and handle various tasks safely and effectively is essential.
• You must be capable of making independent decisions when needed.
• Ability to address practical problems and manage variables in high-pressure situations is crucial.
• Maintain a positive and amiable attitude towards residents and colleagues.
