ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T Swimming is returning for their inaugural 2025 competition at Quincy on Jan. 11 at 1 p.m.
The Miners are revitalized following two triumphs against Missouri-St. Louis and Maryville on Dec. 13. Connor Bichsel (Lee’s Summit, MO/Lee’s Summit West) achieved two victories for S&T in the 200-yard IM and the 100-yard backstroke. S&T’s 400-yard medley relay secured a first-place result, Oscar Iden (Oslo, Norway/Oslo Private Gymnasium) finished first in the 100-yard butterfly, and Adam Wiedemeier (West Monroe, LA/West Monroe) achieved first in the 100-yard freestyle.
Following those two wins, the Miners improved to 3-2 overall this campaign. They have also re-entered the top 25 in the CSCAA rankings at 24th.
Quincy holds a 4-2 record this season but suffered a defeat in their most recent contest against Missouri-St. Louis on Dec. 7. They aim to return to winning ways for the first time since Oct. 26, when they defeated St. Ambrose 116-89.

Missouri S&T will travel next week to compete against Truman State on Jan. 18 at 1 p.m. They will finish the regular season at home against Rockhurst on Jan. 24 at 2 p.m. for Senior Day. The GLVC Championships are set to commence on Feb. 11 in Elkhart, Ind.
