FORT WALTON BEACH — A three-day festivity centered around food, local arts, and family entertainment is set to arrive in Okaloosa County later this month.

From January 31 to February 2, the Foodees Food and Culture Festival tour will hold its second event in Northwest Florida at the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Fairgrounds, located at 1958 Lewis Turner Blvd., Fort Walton Beach.

“We are excited to bring the Foodees Food and Culture Festival to communities throughout the Southeast!” stated Tricia Croft, owner of Foodees, LLC, in a press release. “This occasion is more than just a festival; it’s a tribute to our community’s culinary diversity and creative essence. We welcome everyone to join us for a weekend filled with delightful food, distinctive crafts, and endless enjoyment.”

According to its official site, Foodees Fest is presented as the “leading touring food truck festival in the southeast.” The event in Fort Walton Beach marks their second stop of the year, following a three-day event in Pensacola at the Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds from January 24-26.

Over 50 food trucks are anticipated to participate. The event will also include handmade arts and crafts from local artisans, alongside the Foodees Fun Park that will feature 10 “large” inflatables, games, face painting, interactive displays, and karaoke.

Admission to the festival is complimentary. Pre-registration for tickets is strongly recommended. Visit foodeesfest.com/fortwalton-destin.

The festival will take place from 1 to 7 p.m. on Friday, January 31, and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, February 1 and 2.
